Vintage Tapeten - the online shop for old original wallpapers from the past decades

In our shop you will find original vintage wallpaper from the past decades, especially the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s. We offer old originals, which are difficult to get and are no longer produced. Our wallpapers come from all over Europe, mostly from Germany. In addition to the big well-known manufacturers, such as Marburg, Rasch and P+S International (takes over in the 80s Hildesia), which still determine the wallpaper market, we also sell wallpaper of the numerous small wallpaper manufacturers who brought their own collections in the trade. Our warehouse currently contains several thousand rolls, which we will gradually photograph and place here.
 

Why the original?

This question can be easily answered for us. For example, we would deny good design to a retro wallpaper from the hardware store. It is based on good design at best, without the quality of the original in idea, material and execution to achieve. With our original vintage wallpapers the charm of the past is noticeable and not only in the design, but also in the material. It is the old printing processes and the choice of paper that make every single wallpaper unique with  rarity value.
